Mud Lubricant

Aqualube

Description

Aqualube is a biodegradable mud lubricant specifically blended for reducing friction between drill string and casing/bore hole in water base mud. Aqualube works equally well both in fresh and salt water without altering the rheology of mud adversely. Aqualube is a blend of high molecular weight fatty oils, surfactants and stabilizers. It provides lubricity by forming a film on steel casing or mud cake surface. It also reduces the tendency towards differential pressure sticking.

Aqualube readily disperses in water and water base mud without producing oil slick.
Moreover, it bears no harmful effect for human skin. It is non-fluorescent amber liquid and has no greasing-out or foaming tendencies.
