Potassium Lignite

Ligno-Thin

Description

Ligno-Thin is sodium-free, specially processed lignite which contains potassium humate as its basic ingredient.

Ligno-Thin possesses excellent filtration control properties in potassium based muds at elevated temperatures. It also imparts the same qualities to salt water/sea water muds. It is very effective deflocculant and shale stabilizer in all types of water base mud. Further more Ligno-Thin is also an excellent emulsifier of oil in water at high bottom-hole temperatures. It is thermally stable up to 200°C and above.
