WOT-8 is an acid soluble lost circulation material. One sack blend essentially contains Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose (HEC) and broad distribution of graded calcium carbonate particles etc. It is used to prepare high viscosity pill in fresh water or clear brine work-over and completion fluids for spotting across perforations or fractures in order to control loss of fluid to the producing formation and minimize fluid loss to highly permeable or fractures stratas having bottom-hole temperatures up to 150°C.
The single-bag composition consists of various ingredients. When evenly mixed, it facilitates the uniform composition for the pill and simplifies its preparation. mud is required.
